FATES ACADEMY

Faye and Gareth have announced plans to open a new performing arts academy. The talented pair will be teaching aspiring young performers how to teach, sing, act and dance.

Fates Academy, based at University Technical College (UTC) at MediaCityUK will teach three age groups - 5 to 8 year-olds, 9 to 12 years-olds and 13 to 18 year-olds every Tuesday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.

THE STORY SO FAR

Faye graduated from Guildford School Of Acting with a BA (hons) Degree in Musical Theatre & was awarded the Principle’s Choice Award. She performed in shows such as ‘Anyone Can Whistle’ (Milmead) ‘Match Girls’ (Milmead) ‘Aladdin’ as Princess Jasmine (Electric) & was also part of GSA Singers 2007-2008.

Before graduating Drama School Faye made her West End Debut in the Musical ‘Grease’ as Frenchy but also played the lead role of Sandy. In June 2011 she took on one of the biggest female roles in musical theatre, Elle Woods in the first UK Tour of Legally Blonde.

From December 2012 to January 2014 she performed in shows such as 'Sleeping Beauty' as Princess Aurora, 'The Sound of Music' as Liesl Von Trapp and numerous roles in Victoria Woods play 'That Day We Sang' at the iconic Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.

Faye's first TV role came in September 2013 when she played Helena of Troy in the BBC show Atlantis. However it was in 2014 when she got her big break securing a major part playing Agnes Franklin in hit BBC period drama Our Zoo.

In July 2014 Faye returned to the stage playing Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musicals UK Tour.

In July 2015 it was announced that Faye would join the cast of Britains longest running TV soap Opera Coronation Street, playing the role of Kate Connor.
